Hi,
I'm new on this forum, and i have question. I've heard that there is something like 'minimal car hight' in Germany, is it true? I'm going near Koln and i would like to have some info, because i don't want to make any problem's with authorities. Is there anything more i need to know driving in Germany lowered VW? Looking forward for hearing from u guys, best regards

Yes, but this is an individual decission of the "TÜV"-inspector.
There is the following guideline:
A barrier of 800mm widht and 110mm height muss be passed without any contact (Driver inside car, filled fuel tank).

Thanks for answer Fuchs :) so from what you're saying i understand that having VW Vento with lower point of sideskirts about 110-120mm above ground shouldn't be a problem for german police? What punishment can german police gave me, if they say that my car is lower than 110mm, in example couse my bumper is lower with stock spoiler when i'm a foreigner and car in my country pass technical inspection without any problem?

I think that's no problem. Mostly they stop no foreign cars, because it's very difficult to check if this is allowed in your country and also registered in your registration. If you don't destroy anything with your car or jam the traffic - this should no problem. I think you are only here for a short visit. It's another thing if you live here and the car is also registered here.
In the worst case the police says that you must not continue with this car - but I don't think so. This would be a lot of work for the police and they are not interested in this trouble.
